Front Garden, containers and scarecrow competitions 2021
In addition to their Annual Show, on Saturday 28th August at the Recreation Ground, the Martock & District Gardening Society are holding a number of competitions open to all residents and businesses in the Parish of Martock. Entry is free. Certificates will be awarded to the best 3 entries in each class. Cash prizes will also be awarded to the best 3 entries in the Scarecrow competition.

During the summer holiday period there will be a very short break to some services and activities due to staff holidays.

The dates and service or activity to be affected will be published in advance nearer the time and individual attendees will also be notified by the team.

The Job Club has announced that it will be closed

on Tuesday 16th and 24th August

Food parcels will be provided to those who do not have the financial means. Collection of food parcels by the recipient will be required between 11.30am and 12noon on a Wednesday. Requests will need to be made by 5pm on a Monday via the telephone number provided.
